John Weigel
Licensed Psychologist, MS, CAADC Emeritus
John has been married since 1987 to Jane Weigel, together they have four children. They actively attend Community Mennonite Church of Lancaster, and are involved in various community efforts in the West Lampeter Township area. John enjoys sports (especially baseball), music (jazz and folk), reading (professional, mystery novels & sociological books) and chocolate (all types!). John is the founder and owner of Weigel Counseling Associates, Inc. John has been a Licensed Psychologist since 1989, and has been a Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor since 1987. He began a private practice of Psychology in 1993. John's professional specialties include: Counseling children and adults, couples counseling, emotional disorders (anxiety, depression, anger), Sports Psychology issues, family counseling, educational presentations and public speaking. Ann Gantt
Ph.D., MSW, LCSW
Ann Gantt is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Ann earned a bachelor's degree from Millersville University, a master's degree from Temple University, and a doctorate degree from University of Maryland, Baltimore. Ann has worked in a variety of social work settings throughout her career (child welfare, school, hospital, university professor). Ann's clinical specialties include anxiety, depression, and grief.
Ann is the proud mother of three adult children. She also has several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Ann has lived in Lancaster, PA her entire life. She is a graduate of J.P. McCaskey High School.
In her spare time, Ann enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, and playing the piano.

Barbara Connor
Licensed Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist
Barbara Connor is a Licensed Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist with over 16 years of experience as a therapist. She received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Her therapy specialties include: couples/marital, anxiety, depression, grief/bereavement, relational issues, life transitions, parenting and blended families, and women’s issues. In addition, she enjoys providing group therapy and offering educational presentations. A special interest she has is providing support for the healthcare provider struggling with compassion fatigue, burnout, moral distress, and work life balance. Her many years of experience as a therapist, nurse, and wife of a Physician offers her a unique ability to help the healthcare provider find balance and meaning in their personal and professional life. In her free time she enjoys traveling, entertaining, reading, exercising, and spending time with friends and family. Becky Charles
LCSW, MSW, M.Ed
Becky Charles is a couples, individual, and family therapist specializing in sexuality and gender issues. Becky joined Weigel Counseling Associates as an LSW in 2012. Becky attained her BS in Psychology from Lebanon Valley College and both her Master's in Clinical Social Work and Master's in Human Sexuality Education from Widener University. She attained her LCSW in 2016. Becky works primarily from a Narrative Therapeutic Approach as well as a Strengths-Based Model. Becky holds particular interest and expertise in issues surrounding HIV and sexuality, severe mental health concerns, and young adult transitional issues/college-aged concerns, as well as particular interest in working with couples and LGBTQ clients. Belinda Busch
MA, NCC
Belinda is a National Certified Counselor and holds a master's degree in Counseling from Messiah University with a concentration in Marriage, Couple, and Family work. She completed her undergraduate degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies at Syracuse University. Prior to joining Weigel Counseling Associates, Belinda completed her graduate fieldwork at Community Services Group and Penn Medicine providing group, couple, and individual counseling. Belinda also spent 8 years as an early childhood educator and has a passion for working with children of all ages.
Belinda’s therapeutic interests include managing anxiety, depression, grief, life adjustments, work-life balance, sexuality, sensory processing, and ADHD. Belinda takes an eclectic approach to treatment, primarily utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy and Adlerian lenses. Belinda is also a certified Prepare-Enrich Facilitator and enjoys providing premarital and couples counseling. Her ultimate goal is to provide a caring and safe environment for her adult, adolescent, and child clients.

Chelsea Holbert
Psy.D, HSP
Dr. Chelsea Holbert originally hails from Northeastern Pennsylvania and is returning to the Keystone State after living in the Midwest for 11 years. Dr. Holbert graduated from the University of Indianapolis, College of Applied Behavioral Sciences in 2018. She completed an APA-Accredited Doctoral internship and her Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Youth Opportunity Center in Muncie, Indiana. While there she gained experience with Court-ordered comprehensive diagnostic testing and provided Court mandated treatment to youth involved in the Indiana Juvenile Justice System.
A generalist by training, Dr. Holbert most recently served as the Assistant Director of Integrated Behavioral Health and Training Director for The Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC), a multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center in the greater Indianapolis area. During her tenure with JPCHC she worked with a wide range of patients with a co-occurring history of trauma and health concerns, between the ages of 15 and 70 years old. As an administrator Dr. Holbert participated in the Indiana Primary Health Care Association’s Trauma-Informed Care Initiative, where she partnered with the Indiana Health Department and the administration of JPCHC to increase the utilization of Trauma-informed care for patients and direct medical staff. In doing so, she gained experience with providing support to staff and looks forward to offering care to first responders, police, and medical personnel.
She is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). She’s broadly trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and has interests in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and experiential approaches to treatment. She is a registered Health Service Psychologist through the National Registry of Health Service Psychologists and a member of the American Psychological Association, Division 56 (Trauma Psychology) and Division 38 (Health Psychology). She is looking forward to serving the community of Lancaster County and hopes to provide a range of services that include Psychotherapy and testing.

Corinne Blackmun is a Licensed Social Worker. Corinne earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from Eastern University and her Master’s Degree in clinical Social Work from Widener University. Corinne has experience in both pastoral and non-pastoral counseling addressing marital and family issues, grief, depression, anxiety, life transitions, stress management and other areas.

Liz is a Licensed Social Worker and earned her Master's in Social Work from The University of Pittsburgh. She has worked with children, adolescents, and families for over 10 years. Liz is experienced working with children who have been traumatized by emotional, physical, and sexual abuse. She is adept at working with children in foster care, adoption, and CYS.
Liz incorporates play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy and structural family therapy, while using the strengths-based approach with her clients. Janine Castle

Janine received her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from Syracuse University in 2001. Broadly trained in the field of clinical psychology, she has a special interest in women’s issues. including maternal anxiety and depression, women’s health issues, and trauma.

She completed her postdoctoral training at Life Span Psychological Services, and participated in an intensive training through the Beck Institute of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
After becoming licensed in 2002, Janine began working for Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health, specializing in health psychology and women’s mental health issues. Most recently, she has worked with Lancaster General Health, providing clinical supervision to therapists in the Moving Beyond Depression program, a program specializing in maternal mental health.
In practice, Janine has a deep appreciation for the importance of being your genuine self. She utilizes mutuality within the relationship to help clients to recognize the core beliefs that are preventing them from engaging their true selves. She joins with her clients to instill hope, move toward growth and achieve fulfilling change.

Jen Mansfield
MS, LPC, ATR
Jen is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years of experience as a therapist. She received her bachelor’s degree from West Chester University and her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Millersville University in 2014. She worked primarily in the children’s behavioral health field for 13 years focusing on the late childhood and adolescent years. Since earning her Master’s degree and LPC she has worked with clients of all ages in an outpatient setting and inpatient setting. Jen has worked with mental health issues that include depression, anxiety, ADHD, ODD, relationship concerns, life transitions, drug and alcohol addiction/dependency, as well as individuals on the Autism spectrum and individuals struggling with LGBTQ+ concerns. Jen works primarily from the Cognitive Therapy and Cognitive Behavior Therapy approaches.

Jo Ann Ramsey
LCSW, RN
Originally from a small farm in the hills of Western Pennsylvania, Jo Ann has lived in Lancaster County for over 30 years. As a Registered Nurse and Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she assists others in their personal journey of healing of mind, body, spirit, and emotions. Some of her various areas of expertise include assisting in behavior modification for developmental stages of life, anxiety, depression, chronic illnesses, addictions, and losses, relational issues, and crisis intervention through methods such as cognitive therapy, hypnotherapy, dream analysis, breathing exercises, spiritual counseling, and energetic self- healing.
Her hobbies over the years have included hiking, biking, yoga, reading, and studying a myriad of cultures and religions. Most of all she loves enjoying life with her three dogs and stopping to smell the flowers while living in her refurbished School House Home.

Lori Yelk
LPC, NCC
Lori graduated from Alvernia University with a Master’s Degree in Community Counseling. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Certified Counselor. Lori works with children, adults, couples and families who have a variety of mental health issues. She is certified in Trauma Focused-Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) and has experience in trauma therapy, play therapy, couple’s counseling and faith based spiritual counseling. Meade Stoner
MSW, LCSW
Meade is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and has worked in the human services field since 1992 (with an MSW from Temple University since 1997) in settings such as Children and Youth Services, Family Based Mental Health Services, an Inpatient Psychiatric Hospital, Outpatient Therapy, Community Work with Urban Youth, Residential Treatment for adolescents and a brief period with developmentally delayed individuals in community living settings. Meade has been with Weigel Counseling Associates since 2005 and works out of the Lititz Office. Much of his experience has been with children and adolescents. He has some training in Structural Family Therapy, has been a Comprehensive Crisis Management trainer and has received the Sexual Offender Treatment Specialist Certification from Ohio University (2004). In addition to his family and life experiences these positions and trainings have influenced his desire to be a healing presence in the lives of individuals and families. Each experience has been invaluable in developing a perspective that values each individual for who they are, what they believe and what they have been created to be or to become. Meade has a strong desire to impact issues related to fathering, the need for positive male presence in the lives of youth as well as sexual behavior difficulties among youth. Meade enjoys spending time with his family, church, riding bicycle, hiking, kayaking, music and just about any adventure or outdoor activity. Providing counseling at our Lititz location.
Megan Rothermel
MSW, LSW
Megan Rothermel is a Licensed Social Worker. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Family from The University of Alabama and her Master’s in Social Work from Samford University. Megan has lived in Lancaster County since 2017 and has experience working with families and children with developmental delays and/or disabilities. She has experience working with families who have experienced trauma, grief and behavioral challenges.
Megan uses a combination of play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment therapy and strengths-based therapy approaches with her clients. She is passionate about helping children and families heal from trauma and working with those who have experienced abuse, depression and anxiety, or Attachment Disorders.
Megan is married with three step-sons, two dogs and a cat. She loves spending time with her family and enjoys being outside, whether that’s at the beach or hiking. She likes to read, snuggle with her dogs, garden and be creative.

Melissa Brown
MS, Licensed Psychologist
Melissa is a Licensed Psychologist with over 26 years of experience in the mental health field. She works with adolescents and adults in individual, family and couples therapy. Clinical treatment areas include mood disorders, anxiety disorders, adjustment disorders, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) in adolescence and in adulthood, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), and LGBTQ+ issues. Rachael Packer

Rachael Packer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She received her Master's Degree in Social Work from Millersville University and was previously employed as an Outpatient Clinical Therapist within a community agency. Rachael enjoys working with individuals and groups of all ages with a range of presenting mental health concerns. She works well with difficult-to-engage/therapy-resistant clients. Rachael is particularly passionate about serving the LGBTQ community, addressing matters related to gender identity and expression, sexual orientation and the "coming out" process. Saritha Rothermel

Saritha has been a licensed professional counselor since 2019. She received her Masters in Counseling from Cairn University, and has spent her career working with children and their families in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Saritha specializes in working with adolescents and young adults who struggle with difficulties such as Depression, Anxiety, Suicidality, adjustment difficulties and self-esteem issues. She also enjoys working closely with parents on managing parental stress and difficulties to help them show up as their best selves in their family and life. Regardless of age, she loves helping individuals thrive.

Scott Behrens
LSW
Scott is a Licensed Social Worker and received both undergraduate and graduate degrees in social work through Millersville University. Scott has over 5 years of experience working as a Family Based Therapist and received his FBT certification in 2021. In his time as a CFBT, he was able to help families work through a variety of challenges using the ESFT model (Eco-systemic Structural Family Therapy) and working through a more relational frame. Scott believes in a humanistic approach to therapy which stems from his time in Millersville’s social work program and adhering to the values set by the NASW. Dignity and worth of the person is something he values highly and tries to instill in the relationships he builds with clients.
Scott was born and raised in Lancaster. He loves spending time with his family and friends and watching soccer on the weekends. Stewart Craig

Stewart is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor. He graduated from Millersville University with a Master’s Degree in Education. Stewart has 20 years of experience of helping adolescents, adults, couples and families gain new insights and learn effective skills to make change happen. Clinical services include therapy for co-occurring conditions. Stewart provides a Motivational Interviewing approach with the purpose of meeting clients where they are currently and provide guidance and support in their personal journey towards change. He is certified in addiction counseling and specializations include addressing symptoms of substance abuse, anger, depression, anxiety and trauma. Stewart believes experiencing wellness is an inclusive act in which everyone deserves. He has served clients with diverse experiences and cultural backgrounds including members of the LGBTQ+ community. Stewart realizes rest and relaxation is important for the mind, body and soul. He likes to rest by taking time away, connecting to literature, art and nature, finding solitude to recharge, spending time with family/friends and giving himself permission to take care of himself so he can guide others to take care of themselves. Taylore Runkles

Taylore is a Licensed Social Worker who has been working with children, adolescents and families since 2014. Taylore received her Bachelor’s degree from Messiah College in 2013 where she studied Sociology, Anthropology and Urban Studies. She then went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2019 and obtained her LSW in 2021. Taylore has a background in working with children and teens with anxiety and depression, substance use disorder, and neurodivergence. Taylore also has a great passion for working with families and supporting them as they learn to communicate more effectively and develop their boundaries. Taylore has experience in supporting parents as they navigate the challenges of raising children in our society.
Taylore specializes in working with children, adolescents and their families using a holistic and eclectic lens. Her therapeutic style includes: structural family therapy, art therapy, play therapy, and strengths based therapy. Taylore does have training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). Taylore strives to be a catalyst of empowerment for the folks with whom she is working and values collaboration while working with clients. She believes that each individual has inherent strengths and abilities which will allow them to overcome any challenge.
Taylore and her husband enjoy reading, hiking, and spending time with their two cats. Taylore also enjoys cooking and baking in her free time.

Tracy Herrera
LPC
Tracy has been a Licensed Professional Counselor for 10 years. She started off her career working with the military, their families and civilians, as a Substance Abuse Counselor, specializing in Drug and Alcohol Counseling but working with a variety psychological disorders that co-occured with her client's addiction issues. At the time, her husband was an active duty Military Policeman. She spent 4 years working in Germany for the Department of Defense and continued working for an additional year in Italy, focusing on Domestic Violence, Domestic Abuse and Child Abuse. Once returning to the United States, Tracy spent the remaining 5 years focusing on a myriad of counseling issues to include Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Grief/Bereavement, Anger Management and Substance Abuse. Tracy sees both children and adults. Tracy takes an eclectic approach to counseling as she believes all people are unique and as such, should have a unique counseling approach. She uses CBT, Imagery and Relaxtion Training, REBT, Solution Focused Therapy as well as many others. She is a firm believer in homework and encourages her clients to be fully engaged in the therapeutic process. Her most rewarding moment is seeing a client succeed in an area they formerly felt weakness in. In her spare time, Tracy loves to spend time with her husband and children (1 boy and 2 girls). Yvonne Parsons

A gradudate from State University of New York (B.A.) and Temple University (MSW), Yvonne is pleased to be a part of the clinical practice of Weigel Counseling Associates. As a licensed clinical therapist (17+ years), Yvonne offers her clients a collaborative and empathetic approach to help them identify personal strengths, define desired goals, and create a path toward positive change and growth. Yvonne enjoys working with families, couples, and adults, children and adolescents, to address the following: Couple's/Marital counseling, EFT - Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy, Divorce, Do-parenting, Blended family concerns, Trauma & Abuse, Loss & Grief, Anxiety, Depression, Life transitions, LGBTQ/Gender identity & expression, Eating disorders, Self-harm, Bullying, Self-Esteem/Empowerment, Communication issues, ADD/ADHD, OCD, and Substance abuse. Originally from New York, Yvonne has lived in the Lancaster area for 18 years. She appreciates the change in the seasons, a variety of music and movies, and hanging out with family and friends, which includes her 2 "furry" children, Bailey and Kiro. Laurie Cosgrove
Billing Manager
Laurie is the Billing Manager for Weigel Counseling Associates, and is the "Queen" of Insurance Policy and all-things insurance-related, and also manages the Billing for Weigel Counseling Associates. Her knowledge includes panel information for the clinicians, and who is a provider for which insurance companies. Laurie has worked with John and Weigel Counseling Associates for over twelve years in this capacity. Laurie has always lived in Lancaster County, and is a graduate of Penn Manor High School. Laurie's management abilities extend to include that of 250 low-income apartments for 10 years, and still maintains her real estate license. Laurie is married with three children and a dog. In her free time she enjoys catching up with family and friends, watching movies and reading.
Dana Poirier
Practice Manager, BSBA
Dana is the Practice Manager for Weigel Counseling Associates. Dana received her Bachelor's Degree in Business from Albright College. Her role at Weigel is to support our clinicians, help manage the day-to-day operations of the business as well as promote growth and development of our practice. Dana was born and raised in Delaware County, PA but has resided in Lancaster County for the last 15 years. She currently lives in Lititz with her husband and two children. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling.
Dan Weigel
Assistant Practice Manager
Dan is the Assistant Practice Manager at Weigel Counseling Associates. He earned his B.A. in Philosophy and Religion from Bucknell University. He works on a variety of tasks including financials, intakes, and technology. Dan is from Lancaster County and graduated from Lampeter-Strasburg High School. He is married with no childen or pets. In his free time he enjoys reading, hiking, traveling and convincing his wife to allow him to rip up more of their ever shrinking lawn in favor of more native plant gardens. So far he has been able to win quite a few concessions from his wife (including the entire front yard) while maintaining a happy marriage, a balance he hopes to continue.
